  • Ethics sounds such a dry topic but it’s our everyday work.  It always sounded so academic before, the speakers were all excellent and interesting
  • Extremely useful to me.  Just enough, not boring but interesting.
  • The lecture on ethical dilemma would have liked a hand out
  • More interesting than I had anticipated and touched quite a lot of raw, personal nerves on one of the subjects covered.
  • The sessions were a bit long, could have done with more breaks.
  • Fantastic
  • Very enjoyable and easier to interact as it was a smaller group.
  • I found the talks very interesting and thought provoking as not a clear subject by any means.
  • Very interesting speakers. Thanks.
  • I have thoroughly enjoyed the day especially the attachment session.  Very informative and very well presented.
  • Always a real treat to come to one of your days.  Everyone is so positive about breastfeeding.
  • All the speakers were very good and challenging.  Maybe a little more time for discussion would be good.
  • Interesting speakers.  Very informative and enjoyable
  • Interesting speakers
  • Was not sure what to expect but the whole day has been very informative and thought provoking.
  • Especially enjoyed the understanding of the basis of ethical practice and the talk on attachment and breastfeeding
  • Really thought the attachment presentation great.
  • Would have been good to have ethical dilemma scenarios to tackle in small groups to apply the information as the speakers discussed it.
  • It is always good to talk through how practice and the topic interact.
  • I thoroughly enjoyed the day and would not hesitate to come to the next conference.
  • Speakers very good

Feedback from attendees at the “Starting a Business” workshop 28.10.06

'A great day, which provided excellent ideas/overview for setting up in private practice. Would definitely recommend others of setting up in private practice to attend.'

'Will be giving me more in-depth thought about private practice and really thinking about doing it. Really useful input from all present and different ideas of what form your private work could take. Good to have guidance on what preparations to take. Thanks for the inspiration.'

'Could have been held over two days. Helped to bring doubts, hopes and realism to the process. Encouraging but practical and helpful. Put everything into perspective. Well done.'

'A very interesting day. It has been wonderful to explore ideas with a group who are looking to do similar things. Good balance of teaching and group work.'

'Someone who is an advisor for setting up small business may have been helpful or a tax consultant.'

'Have enjoyed the day and enthusiastic about the future.'

'I came with trepidation, as the whole subject seemed overwhelming and fraught with difficulty. I leave with relief and enthusiasm to give it a go. Thanks for helping to explain, explore and discuss these issues. I cannot think of any improvements on the day you could have made.'

'Excellent day. I enjoyed the structure and programme as it was. Great group, lots of questions and interaction. Good to talk to others who had started their own business with pros and cons. Excellent group work. Thank you very much.'

'I am thinking of setting up own business and need to think about everything beforehand. Made me think of lots of aspects which I may have just not done or planned. Good to meet others and hear their idea. Very useful, lots of food for thought, thanks.'

'I have really enjoyed today. I came with an open mind and have lots of ideas now including a better idea of how to move forward in a structured way. I can’t think of anything I would have included or wish to have left out. It has been a very useful springboard from which to start out. Thank you very much.'
